McCain handles an awkward situation well.  Did Ellen ask Obama about this issue?  He agrees with McCain on it.

Ref's Index of Battlegrounds: Clinton over McCain by 4.5, Obama losing to McCain

The untold story behind Bush and McCain's attack on Obama: Pundits have not focussed on this yet, at least that I have seen, but Bush and McCain's attack on Obama seems to have been an effort to elevate Obama to nominee status by the Republicans.  It is my belief that eventually this tag-team attack will be viewed as the Republicans' effort to effectively end the Democratic nomination process and make Obama the nominee. Look for the media to eventually label this as an indication of who they want to run against, Obama.  Even the liberal media can't miss this one.  The polls clearly indicate that Obama is easier to beat.

Obama Grilled on Ties to Pro-Palestinian Professor

LIBERAL MEDIA BIAS Check out this headline, McCain Pastor: Islam Is a 'Conspiracy of Spiritual Evil."  Hagee was never McCain's pastor as this headline arguably suggests

The fact that this story is in the news indicates that the media greatly fears the Jeremiah Wright issue: McCain Rejects Hagee Backing as Nazi Remarks Surface - This would not be as big of a story if the liberals in the media did not fear the impact Jeremiah Wright will have on Obama's general election chances. Focusing on this story naturally brings the Jeremiah Wright story back into focus.  The Obama backing media would not do this unless they felt the Wright story has a life of its own and could easily keep Obama out of the White House. The Hagee story's high profile represents an affirmative effort on the part of the media to neutralize the impact of the Wright story.

New York Times Op-Ed: Kennedy Talked, Khrushchev Triumphed - I was surprised to see this honest assessment of the weakness of Obama's proposed approach on dealing with Iran in the New York Times.
