- CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT BY FIAT: Obama Appeals Ct. Nominee says Constitution Must Adapt to Changes in the World | Ref's Comment: Of course this is true, but not in the way Obama and his nominee believe. The constitution must adapt, but it already does. The constitution allows for amendments to it, and it has been amended twenty-seven times. The problem for Obama comes in the form of the amendment process, the democratic form. Here we again see Obama's disdain for democracy, as we do in his attempt to foist ObamaCare on a staunchly resistant American electorate. Obama and his nominee should say what they really believe, that they and other liberal activist judges should be granted the supremely high authority to amend the constitution as they see fit, at will and without the consent of the governed. This amounts to judicial tyranny and should inspire outrage.
